HKSTPC had organised a series of training sessions for our partners in the past few months.
On 23 April, at the seminar “Turning Ideas into Gold”. Mr. John Seah, Managing Director of Everest Innovation Pte Ltd inspired participants on how to think out of the box and create hundreds of ideas with ease.
The Executive Study Group – a monthly gathering which facilitates networking and interactions between academics and senior executives of leading enterprises was co-organised with The Chinese University of Hong Kong (CUHK). Attended by over 100 senior executives, the gathering on China Strategy was held on 30 April. The group discussed ways to capture China’s market potential by employing accurate data and rigorous methodologies, and shared the latest information about urban and rural households.
The “HKU/Oxford Isis Technology Transfer Training Workshop 2010” held during 8 to 11 June was a four-day training, covering Marketing and Licensing, Spin-out Companies, Methods of Knowledge Exchange and a company visit. About 40 professionals attended the workshop and visited HKSTPC companies in the Park, including Group Sense, ASTRI and Solomon Systech to better understand their technology development and IP management. |
